Dr. Trevor M. Fujinaka

Dr. Trevor was born and raised in the Oakland/Alameda area and attended Bishop O’Dowd High School. He went on to attend Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo where he majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Biotechnology. He found dentistry to be his calling and received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Like his father, he became highly interested in the field of Periodontics and implant dentistry and decided to focus his career on the specialty of Periodontology.

Dr. Trevor received his Masters of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Standing in Periodontology from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. At BU, he learned the latest advances in the specialty of Periodontology, such as minimally invasive soft and hard tissue grafting. He conducted research on the osseointegration of implants placed with Piezoelectric surgery and prototype implants. He was the recipient of the Morris Ruben Scholarship, the Stallard Scholarship for Research, and the award for Excellence in Periodontology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Trevor is an avid Bay Area sports fan and enjoys running, hiking, snowboarding, and golfing. He is ecstatic to work alongside his father, Dr. Glenn Fujinaka, and join his practice!
